Privacy policy

This policy describes how Rykk AB handles your personal data when you use Rykk and rykk.app. Questions? Email hello@rykk.app.
1. What we collect
- Account: your email address, name and profile picture, from the sign-in method you choose.
- Profile: your handle, profile picture and country.
- Workouts: power, cadence, speed, distance, duration, calories and figures calculated from them, from the equipment you connect.
- Heart rate and body measurements: only if you agree. See the health data policy.
- Subscription: its status and dates. Payment is handled by our payment providers, such as the App Store, Google Play or Stripe, and we never see your card details.
- Technical: such as app version, device model and IP address.
2. How we use it
We use your data to run Rykk: your account, your workouts, multiplayer and your subscription. We also use it to keep Rykk secure and fair, to fix problems, and to send you service messages such as password resets. We don't sell your data or use it for advertising.
3. Who sees it
Other players see your handle, profile picture and country, and how you're doing in a multiplayer session or ranking. That can include your heart rate.
We use service providers, for example for hosting, sign-in and payments. They process data only on our behalf. Where data leaves the EU, it's protected by the safeguards the GDPR requires. We disclose data to authorities only when the law requires it.
4. Cookies
We use cookies and similar technologies in Rykk and on rykk.app, for example to keep you signed in. Where the law requires it, we ask for your consent first.
5. How long we keep it
As long as you have an account. You can ask us to delete your account at any time. When we delete it, we delete your personal data, except records the law requires us to keep, such as purchase records.
6. Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, and have it corrected, deleted or exported. You can also object to how we use it or withdraw consent at any time. Email us and we'll answer within a month. You can also complain to the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY).
7. Children
Rykk isn't for children under 13. If a child under 13 has an account, tell us and we'll delete it.
8. Security
We protect your data with technical and organisational measures, such as encryption and access control.
9. Changes
If this policy changes, we update the date at the top. We'll let you know about significant changes.
