Health data policy

Some of what Rykk collects says something about your body and your health. This page explains what that data is and how we handle it. The privacy policy applies too.

1. What we collect

• Heart rate, from the equipment or heart rate monitors you connect.
• Body measurements you enter.
• Your efforts in each session: power, cadence, speed, distance, duration and calories, plus figures we calculate from them, such as splits and training summaries.

2. Why we collect it

To run your workouts, calculate your results, save your sessions so you can follow your progress, and show your efforts to other players.

3. Where it comes from

From you, and from the devices you connect.

4. Your consent

Heart rate and body measurements are optional, and we process them only with your consent. You can withdraw consent at any time, and ask us to delete what's already saved.

5. Who sees it

Other players can see your efforts and heart rate, for example in multiplayer sessions. Our service providers store and process the data only on our behalf. We disclose it to authorities only when the law requires it.

We never sell health data or use it for advertising, and we never share it with anyone for their own purposes.

6. How long we keep it

Until you delete your account, or until you withdraw consent and ask us to delete it.

7. Your rights

You can ask what health data we have about you, get a copy, have it deleted, and withdraw consent at any time. Email us and we'll answer within a month.

8. Changes

If this policy changes, we update the date at the top.
